Song Saturday; Albatross
I’ve been out for most of the day, away to the park with family, Kids, dogs etc… And as we fed the ducks, this was playing in my mind…….. Ok so we don't have albatross in the local park, just mallards and geese, but reminded me of this.
Thank you...............in my stupidity I tried to find one with lots of pictures of birds, you are of course right, a much nicer version. Also ... so many of the original recordings seem to be taken directly from the vinyl.. scratches and imperfections included.
Do you ever do what I do? I go on YouTube and 'song wander'. I'll find an old song I like, listen to it....then check the 'related vids' in the right-rail. There'll be some old fave there.....click on it.....then do the same thing again and again. Was doing that last night and found a whole heap of old faves I'd either forgotten or hadn't listened to in ages.
nice

ReplyDeleteAuch, one of my favourite songs (showing my age eh?). Lovely pictures too.
ReplyDeleteLove the song, but not sure I like that version. Sounds like an acoustic version. I prefer the original recording.
