It's winter here now, it looks like winter, feels like winter and the sun sets early. We have had very mild days...............but even when its mild, the air feels like winter
yep, think I prefer the winter light to the harsh summer light. Although one of the nice things about living here is that even in summer the light has a soft mellow feel to it.. perfect for photographs
that funny..........how people see things differently, I quiet like the telegraph pole, it gives the picture some perspective although I do see what you mean. This is the cottage along the lane to my daughters cottage, I was almost out side her cottage when I took this. She is very lucky to have such a lovely location
I love this time of day. Looks chilly brrrr!
ReplyDeleteaw, the glow of dusk (hugs self)
ReplyDeleteLove the peachy, firey sky and whimsical curled plants:)
ReplyDeleteLooks lovely proving winter is also beautiful /:-)
ReplyDeleteI find I enjoy taking photographs in the winter maybe more than the summer. The light is soft and muted, things are more subtle
ReplyDeleteI like the soft mistiness.
ReplyDeleteThis is what I like to call 'winterlight'.
ReplyDeleteThis is nice.
ReplyDeleteIt conveys a sense of quiet.
ReplyDeleteMellow.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful winter sunset.
ReplyDeletePerfect end to the album.

ReplyDeleteLoretta this is just stunning.
ReplyDeletethank you.....................decided to use these as background to my page, the lovely summer flowers are a bit out of date now.
ReplyDeleteSome pictures just take my breath away. This is one.
ReplyDeleteMagnificent. Pity about the telephone pole, but the picture itself is so calm and serene.
