I have become to admire an artist's ability to depict textiles in paint. I even tried a bit of that the year before last, an unfinished work. I bought a metre of tapestry fabric by which to adapt into a painting. Actually, Loretta, it's an interesting exercise you might like to try yourself.
Redpath's style is sketchy with use of both muted and very bright colours, making her style her own. Very nice to see them, thanks for posting the gallery.
Yellow seems to be an important color in most of her art. The angles here are very interesting as is the partnership of yellow and red.
