France; the area around L'audouiniene
This is the name of the tiny hamlet where my sister lives. There is her house and the house opposite and that is all. These photos are all taken within walking distance of her house.
Looks like in need of lots of repair. Look at all the rock walls. Don't see many of them anymore. LOL Well, except the foundation in my basement. LOL They are of some kind of sand rock and other rock mixed. Our house was built over 100 years ago, or close to it.
An old wooden bucket.

Needs a new roof, that's for sure. and all the climbing plants removed.
ReplyDeleteCould be a fairyland.
ReplyDeleteNeither have I. Remarkable.
ReplyDeleteVery picturesque, but it will take a lot of work. Just gorgeous, though.
ReplyDeleteAnother picturesque place, beautiful !!
ReplyDeletePleasant countryside.
ReplyDeleteLovely place.
ReplyDeleteIs that an orchard?
ReplyDeleteThat's beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWonderful colours. The tulips are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI love wildflowers as much as cultivated ones.
ReplyDeleteLovely.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot :-))
ReplyDeleteI've seen Ivy fruit like this, there's a lot of it in this part of Wales.
ReplyDeleteLots of interesting nooks and crannies.
ReplyDeleteWell weathered.
ReplyDeleteIs this part of sister's restoration project?
ReplyDeleteGonna needs lots of time, patience (and money!!) but it'll be worth it.
ReplyDeleteNice :-))
ReplyDeleteHi Mitch, none of the buildings or land in these photos are owned by my sister, this is what her house and land is surrounded by.
ReplyDeleteVery moody image. I like it.
ReplyDeleteI'm looking at the colours here; there's a mix of chocolate browns, pinks, mauvy-greys and bright lime greens.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed looking at your pictures. Thanks for sharing Loretta. It looks like plenty of work ahead.
