The helpers, the dogs and the field.
This is the small field. Natsumi is planting veg in the bit thats already cleared and then Garry arrived and cleared some more of the brambles and dense undergrowth. .
Most interesting that some things just haven't changed. Love the idea of going to the country to work for awhile and then move on to the next place. There were so many young people 'hiking across Europe' when I lived and worked there, I used to be envious because I had to be at work.
Hi frank..........yes it was quite an experience, I knew in theory how they found their helpers but to be part of it was great fun. I don't think that sort of set up existed when I was young, if it did, and I knew about it, I would have been part of it.

ReplyDeleteHi Renee...........yes they are beautiful dogs. Both rescued dogs and both had a pretty bad start to their lives, but they seem happy enough now.
