East Mathers and poppies
This is one of my favourite places, it looks different every time I go there. Today there are poppies in bloom
What a lush prospect! Looks lonely & cool there. Our neighbors cut down their huge pecan tree that once shaded our back patio & now we are getting WAY too much sun here in our backyard patio. Great photos, Loretta!
Lovely photos Loretta. I just love poppies. My G-Grandmother always had poppies and black eyed susans in a bed with ostrich fern. Sadly, I can never seem to keep mine.
yes, lady called Liz, I didn't realise she was in the picture, she picks me up and takes me out painting with her every couple of weeks. Difference is she is a really good professional artist and sells her work for quite a lot
all very lovely photos, loretta...but i do believe this one is my fave. ; D
ReplyDeleteBeautiful scenes. Are all those poppies growing wild?

ReplyDeleteI like this one the best. The poppies, other wildflowers and the coastline make it such a restful shot. Thank you Loretta.
ReplyDeleteVery nice pictures and scenery. I miss seeing the wild poppies growing in Europe. The poppy is not a common wild flower in the US.
ReplyDeleteI love wildflowers
ReplyDeleteNever seen poppies growing this close to the shore.
ReplyDeleteLooks a lovely place for walking.
ReplyDeleteFellow artist?
ReplyDeleteI think I like this one best, too.
