St Andrews beach on a sunny day
It was a very sunny day, probably the sunniest and warmest day so far this year. Days like this are worth waiting for. :-))
Lovely Photos, I liked them very much. They reminded me of my Childhood. I spent every Summers at the wonderful Seaside of a very pleasant place in the North of France, with my Cousins.
this caught my eye, I don't know what it was. Its very small and sits in the corner of the yard where all the little sail boats live. I love old buildings and I though the shapes here were quite unusual.
glad you like this one Emma, I love the colours and shapes made by the water, I wish I could paint this but its very hard. Also........I love the way that when you take a photo like this, its a moment in time, its unique and will never be repeated, but to capture it is very special.:-))
Another wonderful set of photos Loretta, it looks like a lovely day too. I have once been to St Andrews many years ago when I was hitching from Birmingham to Aberdeen to work on the rigs. I met the cousin of that famous folknik Ashley Hutchins somewhere in the middle of nowhere just as darkness was closing in, he was going to stay with some students at the University, so I tagged along and stopped there overnight, before carrying on to the granite city. It was winter so I never saw this in all its sun-drenched glory....fantastic, thanks for showing me what I was missing Loretta :-)
