Blue Skies, taken mid June.
A collection of photos I took some time mid June. We had a really nice couple of days and I took these outside my daughter’s house at about 4 in the afternoon.
yep.............its just a tiny strip of blue on the horizon but I think it adds to the colour composition..............I'm never far away from the sea here :-))
thanks Mitch, this is another one I would like to paint. When ever I go out taking photos I always think about how the photo would look as a painting but most of the time I don't get round to doing the painting.
Now I see your muse for the Art post!!! YOU are brilliant!
ReplyDeleteBlocks of colour! :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat colour contrasts! I love the brown path next to the green grass.
ReplyDeleteI like this one best I think....but....
ReplyDeleteI also like this one a lot as well
ReplyDeleteThe little house on the prairie, this is another great shot Loretta, I love the clouds
ReplyDeleteIs that the sea I can see in the background?
ReplyDeleteNice contrasts in this one.
ReplyDeleteLovely summer meadow.
ReplyDeleteSo good to see blue skies after so much rain these past few weeks.
ReplyDeleteNice :-))
ReplyDeleteAgain, I like the colour contrasts here. Can I see the sea on the horizon?
ReplyDeleteYou could include this in your 'Art Sunday' post and it wouldn't look out of place.
ReplyDeleteWere those clouds approaching or disappearing?
ReplyDeleteReally lovely shot.
ReplyDeletejust gorgeous, Loretta!
ReplyDeleteyep..............that's the sea, you're never far from the sea where I live...............:-)
ReplyDeleteyes I liked the abstract composition of pure colour shapes..............it looks as it would lend it self to a painting very well.
