GO SUSAN
ReplyDeleteI am excited !!!! my favs so far are Julian Smith & Flawless - but depends on how they perform this evening .
ReplyDeleteIs this the order in which they'll be performing? As to who's going to win, that's difficult to say. They've all made a name for themselves!
ReplyDeletewow he is really good
ReplyDeleteI love Street Dance ..........
ReplyDeleteas Susan was in the very first audition is the real talent that she has...great timing and emotion then [unlike the other night]
ReplyDeleteI SO pray she can, or will be helped to, recover that in these last few hours
as I really believe she does have something special
in spite of the understandable weary cynicism that now springs up about her
secondly [and I wish it could be equally as it's so different]..Diversity, even above Flawless, by about 15-20% in my opinion, who were excellent too
it is going to be so difficult tonight, and I so pray that nerves, or something else, will not intervene to prevent a fair showing of the talent of all the acts put through
sorry to floid you with Julian but this clip makes me ..... shiver with emotions ... the best
ReplyDeleteI think they ought to make all the finalists winners except the ten year old.
ReplyDeleteFar too young for all the stress in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteyes I dont want to watch kids perform .... ( personal taste )
thanks for the Julian video
ReplyDeletehe is so great...
and hails from my city too :)
if he won I would not be sad, it's just that I love the human voice so much
Hollie may be only 10, but her voice is so good and so mature
I find that she and Susan [48] have both had a meltdown [which neither had in the auditions], so I would rather point to what has caused this, as their talent is so good...both of them
I'm torn. Shaun is fantastic, Susan is an angel, Diversity was breathtaking, 2Grand is just too cute, Julian is the next Kenny G. I'm just glad I'm not a judge.
ReplyDeleteall are fabulous talents. but....i gotta go with Susan Boyle, because she's a cinderlla story with moxy.
ReplyDelete; D
guess we all know who you will be cheering on
ReplyDeleteThink I'm with you on this, especially Julian Smith, but flawless were pretty...........well flawless so don't really know. Think I have gone off the favourite Susan at the moment, and I don't think I'd like to see young Holly win. Guess it does all depennd on what happens tonight.
ReplyDeleteI don't know the order they perform, don't even know of the order has been released any where, personally I think they should let the kids go first because it is a very stressfull night for them. Will you be able to watch the show tonight Brenda??
ReplyDeletewho??? ................lol ??
ReplyDeleteme too after her outburst and swearing ...over exposed and no charisma in my book ...
ReplyDeleteshe is a wee wifey from near my home town .. not exciting to watch - stardom is so much more than a good voice !!
after yesterdays fiasco with Holly I know where you are coming from but in fairness...............she is the only child to have done that, remember Connie, she was only 6 when she entered and she was perfect all the time. Also last years winner George, brilliant world class dancer, he was very young. Maybe the answer is to have an age limit of about 12??
ReplyDeletelove that expression...........wee wifey..............that just about sums her up. Can I ask where the home town is.........I'm in Arbroath
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteEdinburgh .....
I agree many talented kids .... I prefer more mature performances ... each to his own
now handsome men dancing .. yum yum
Wow they all are fantastic, I'd hate to have to judge the best /:-) I hope all perform their best tonite /:-)
ReplyDeleteyep you just beat me to it in saying so, not a bad not any where
ReplyDeleteSusan just gave the performance of a lifetime, she is looking good to win right now
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteJulian blew the Huechter Teuchter wifey out the water ,,,,,, sauve , sophisicated , cool ...
I cried all the way through .....
Susan who ?????
seconds from the results and now its done and dusted think my vote goes to diversity..........wow wow wow................amazing
ReplyDeleteyou have sucha way with words
ReplyDeletehi Em..........if yr still there who you voting for?? cos i know this is the highlight of your TV week, what will we do without it??
ReplyDeletehe's in with a chance, in the top three
ReplyDeleteoh shit he came third.............what a shame he didn't win
ReplyDeleteWOW WOW WOW DIVERSITY IT IS
THE WINNING ACT
ReplyDeletesorry but while these guys are talented there are so many acts like them at least in the U.S.
ReplyDeleteI hope Susan will record and tour the U.S. I'd love to see her
I'm sure she will, I would be very surprised if Simon hasn't already signed her up and he loves the American audiences, all his best acts end up touring over there. As for the dancers, I think this sort of act is a lot more common over there than it is here, in fact Simon said so in one of the shows. This sort of act will bring something different, young and fresh to the Royal Variety Performance and the whole point of the show was to find a new act for the Royal Variety Performance. If Susan had won she would have sang beautifully at the Royal variety but its no different to thousands of other singers the Royal family have seen over the years, she's good.............but by no means unique or unusual. Well...........that's My opinion for what its worth. Also worth saying Susan was magnaminous in defeat, a real lady when it mattered
ReplyDeleteI've got the morning news on and one of the big events is that Susan Boyle was runner up. Even though she didn't win, I'm sure she'll go on to have a great career with a voice like that.
ReplyDeleteCan I just have some pizza and maybe a glass of fruit juice and go sit on the porch and listen to the birdies sing?
ReplyDeleteoh wow. I'm watching morning sunday tv on the news show and they have showed all of Susan's performance and what Simon said (glowing from him) about it and now they are showing all of Diversity's performance. Razzamatazzy!
ReplyDeletejust wondering what "wee wifey" means in her case
ReplyDeleteam very much part Scottish, as well as Irish, from my dad, so feeling it
but wondering why you would call a spinster...or a woman, that
OH MY they WERE good tonight! Diversity, I meant.
ReplyDeleteNo it's not an insult, it could even be construed as a term of affection and/or respect, it's usually a term used about older or middle aged women by younger people. My daughters often call me 'wifey', not in seriousness , just as part of a humorous and/or intimate mother/daughter conversation. It's not an easy term to break down if you're not familiar with the Scots language.
ReplyDelete'' If ya dunna ken it tis a wee bit hard ta describe wifey''
What I can tell you is that it has it's historic roots in the poverty, malnutrition and hard physical work the women of Scotland have had to endure in the past. This resulted in them being very small and often bent over as a result of the heavy bales they were expected to carry on their backs while working in the mills. The fisherwomen had similar problems in that the baskets of fish were carried on the womens backs, the difference was that the fisherwomen tended not to suffer malnutrition the way the mill workers did.
yes but not in UK .. and its our show !!!
ReplyDeleteFlawless were the world champion Hip Hop Dancers , so pretty special
winning over 3750 groups from 75 countries
and they were beaten by the winners !!!
Hope Simon signs up Julian - bet he does
wee wifey , means frumpy, unsophisticated , ungroomed . usually infers old too
ReplyDeleteAlso being Scottish, to me wee wifey is just a term for an older woman, whom you probably don't know, regardless of being single or not. Diversity were fantastic, and yes I did vote for them. The choreography was amazing and they produced 3 completely different routines. Susan Boyle has a wonderful voice, but I do worry for her and how she is going to continue to cope with her new found fame, she sometimes appear extremely fragile.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't agree with this, to me its just a term for an ordinary older woman (as previously stated) except of course when used by some of the more elitist among us, and then it can be a derogatory term used as an insult when the speaker considers her self/himself somehow better than ordinary folk.
ReplyDeletethank god for the reasoned voice of sanity.!! Vero my dear you can have as much pizza and wine as you can stomach, help yourself, your presence here is just what we need.
ReplyDeleteAll the acts were great but I do think Diversity wa extraordinary /:-)
ReplyDeleteagreed 100%
