Song Saturday, Bouree, Ian Anderson, Bach and Dali

What a pleasant combination, Dali, Bach and Ian Anderson, a suitable intro for the weekend.

This flute-dominated instrumental, based on Bach's 'Suite in E Minor for Lute', was a track on Jethro Tull's excellent 'Stand Up' (1969).

  4. thanks...............I thought so, pity there is an ocean between us cos I'm sure we could enjoy a glass of wine together and reminisce over some of the more eccentric characters of the 60's & 70's ...........we do seem to share a lot of 'taste'

    maybe the faithful ol dinoputer is almost at the point of extinction and its descendant will evolve into a more user friendly creature

  10. oh, one up on the evolutionary scale. Well, the next puter I get will be post cataclysmic event, the one that apparently destroyed all dinosaurs and this one will even be part of the new age of technology. Ok!
