This was my first day back at work after the summer holidays. It was a warm evening, the sea was clam and the wind was low, I decided to go for a walk. Soon the weather will change and these cliffs will be out of bounds to me again for another year and I thought I should make the most of the opportunity.

ReplyDeleteThe colour is amazing here and it shows "early evening" - due to the yellow late pm light refracting the colours of the natural elements to a depth of intensity.
ReplyDeletethe pathway makes the viewer think they are not merely looking at a scene, but going somewhere. There's a dream-like element to this one.
ReplyDeletegosh, that pink. If you hadn't seen this for yourself you'd wonder if it was real. This is the stuff that inspires the artist, and probably lends to impressionism.
