I first heard this piece of music a very, very long time ago, and then it was used in an advertising campaign and became instantly recognisable by every one. . For some reason I’ve had this music in my head for the last couple of days, I still think it’s a beautiful piece of music even if it is mostly recognised as a TV advert.
The music is very beautiful. And just for a second or two, the commercial comes to mind. But as it goes on, it stands on its on. Thanks for sharing it Loretta.

ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about this music getting in your head. It happens to me from time-to-time, it is just beautiful. I have posted it also, twice over the past year.

I don't think the advert has the connection for me, I think it was a UK thing, BOAC perhaps?? If that is it, then we had limited exposure to it; though well done.
A wonderful song, sung wonderfully..... I love Delibes' music...
