I know, I have exactly the same Blue Iris here. They are wonderful and very pretty to look at.
Dormant all year long, then the first Flowers to appear in February, and they are even resistant to ... Snow ! And Squirrels. My Squirrels ate all my Tulips Bulbs, but for a reason they did not touch the Iris.
