Cadell, Scottish Painter




Francis Cadell was one of the four main artists who made up what was known as 'The Scottish Colourists'

  3. I really like these Loretta. The name is not familiar to me, yet some of the images are, perhaps from a museum in London or Paris? I love seascapes, but the portraits are wonderful also. Where he has used the orange, they come right off of the canvas. Thank you.

  7. Forgot I had this little guide book, bought when I went around the Kelvingrove Gallery, and inside it is a bigger picture of the Orange Blind AND a close up of the Orange Blind. I don't have my scanner anymore so I have tried to photograph the illustrations in the hope they are a better size than the other pictures I originaly found on the internet.
