East Haven Beach this afternoon.
It was a bit cold, and at times it rained, but it was still good to get out. And its sooooo much better than it was this time last year.
there are lots of chains on this bit of beach, I think they are old anchor chains or at least chains used to anchor the boats the the poles. The seaweed is dark blue/black but because its wet it looks more blue than usual.
yes, I love the sea no matter what the weather or what the time of year. I hope you are not in the middle of those storms, from what we see it looks quite serious
that's funny cos when my children were little we used to collect all the coloured glass that had been worn smooth from the beach. I love the way it sparkles in the pools. from the beach
love this one-looks like a watercolor
ReplyDeletelove this one too
ReplyDeletebeautiful collection Loretta
ReplyDeleteThis is rather intriguing. Do you knpw what the chain is all about? And is the seaweed normally blue? Quite the shot.
ReplyDeleteOh, very nice!
ReplyDeleteCrab traps?
ReplyDeleteAh, we were both at the sea today. It is so soothing, is it not?

ReplyDeleteI like this one too.............I think this could lend itself to an abstract painting.
ReplyDeletethanks, it makes me want to somehow 'recreate' it as a garden decoration...............but it wouldn't be the same.
