There's a lot of Johnny Cash on TV recently, I'd forgotten how much I like him. In the youtube comments under this video some one has written..
'please take Justin Bieber and send Johnny back'...........now I know you can't go around wishing people dead.......but I kinda see their point :-)
He was so great! Is June Carter (later to become his wife) one of the back-up singers?? I was able to listen to the second video. He had a smoky wonderful voice.
ReplyDeleteI can see their point!! Yes, Johnny Cash was one of the greats. I hadn't realised he'd done a cover of the Tom Petty classic "Won't Back Down". He did a pretty good cover. The second one, of course, is one of his classic songs.
