Song Saturday; ..........colour and spots.
Two songs that are full of colour and fun, to go with this weeks ‘Art Sunday’……..which is also colourful and fun.
Brian Hyland; Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini and Rolling Stones; She's a Rainbow -
thanks folks.................I figured every one would like the Stones, I think its one of their best, but good to know others remember the 'Itsy Bitsy...' as well, I remember singing along to that song when I was really young, to me it has a real holiday feel to it.
Two very different songs!!! LOL. I much prefer the Stones song :-))
ReplyDeletegreat choices-thanks Loretta

ReplyDeletei remember "bikini" being played over and over when it came out
i always liked "she's a rainbow"
i saw them play it live on the "steel wheels" tour
the audience loved that they broke the old song out
:)
Love the Stones!!
ReplyDeleteIf you are going to wear a bikini, even if not itsy bitsy, put on lots of sunscreen. I speak from sad experience.
OMG, memories, even I was very young when 'itsy bitsy' was released and have never forgotten it.
ReplyDeleteoh, i love those songs! and Rainbow is one of my favorite Stones tunes.
