Edinburgh, july 2cd 2005, Make Poverty History, the photos
It's great to see so many participants in this event. It shows that people really do care and want to do things about it. Thanks for the heads up about this important matter, Loretta. I'll do a blog about it too.
Biofuels are adding to the food crisis.I am glad that there are people doing something about poverty. Poverty and hunger go hand in hand. These folks are well intended. Ta.
I like your photos. Well taken. The combination of people lying down and the man close up standing with folks all around standing adds a certain something to this photo. Well done. Ta.

Looks like a nice day. A bit of our days were rainy this summer. Luckily, I love all weather.
ReplyDeleteEveryone is wearing white shirts. Cool.
ReplyDeleteOk not every one. This guy didn't wear a white shirt. Wait a minute is that a kid dangling from his shoulders?
ReplyDeleteCool flags or banners. I like all the sitting around. That is one of my favourite things to do. I like it better than standing around.
ReplyDeleteStanding room only.
ReplyDeleteOh, I like the woman clapping her hands. So far this is my favourtie one. She looks very happy.
ReplyDeleteVery crowded. I'd want to sit down. Unless there is music and then I'd want to clap.

Blue skies and white t-shirts. I love history but I am anti poverty!
ReplyDeleteVery colourful now. Joy!
ReplyDeleteIs everyone leaving to go home now?
ReplyDeleteI hope poverty will be long gone and food, clothing, and shelter will be provided for anyone no matter their age, race, or employment status.
