Henry Fuseli, paintings, illustrations
Part of the Halloween series Henry Fuseli was born at Zürich in Switzerland on February 7, 1741, died, April 16, 1825 in London
What these paintings have in common are the figures emerging from shadows, the images appear from darkness as apparitions might in dreams and nightmares.
