This is what ever Multiply decides to 'export'. There will be no new posts here, this is for every thing from Multiply and 360 that the 'export tool' safely delivers.

HEEEEEEEELP
two days left to do this...............how do I save my 360 page as a picture to keep as a memento???
Go to your page (or any other page you want to save, open the page, hit the key on the top row of your keyboard "Prt Scr" or whatever print screen looks like on your keyboard. This copies the current page exactlly as it is. It is copied to your clipboard.
Now open Paint and hit "paste." Now , under "file" hit save. Change the format from bitmap to jpeg., name the file and save it wherever you want it. I made a folder especially for 360 stuff.
You can save any part of 360 that you want to save this way.
I think that you mean an image of the 360 page, not the blog contents. Do a screenshot of the whole page and save it or email it to yourself to be saved.
I have the instructions for Windows XP screenshot, but they all have them.
Any part that you can copy / paste (such as whole blogs including pictures and comments) can be saved to a Word document by highlighting, hitting copy and then pasting into the file.
Your entire blog area can be transferred very simply to your new Yahoo profile if you have made one. Even comments transfer but unfortunately it doesn't tell you who made the comment . lol
P.S. If you do save anything to 'Word', be careful, 360 used javascript and Multiply will not allow it, so you could have problems posting any of that to Multiply because Word allows javascript and adds some script of it's own. That can be corrected by posting your text from Word to Note Pad then to Multiply. Note Pad removes, or doesn't allow script.
thank you, thank you, thank you I brought over all the actual blogs ages ago, sure you remember me jamming up the inbox :-)) have now saved a picture of it................thank yopu Vero.............and Frank............... :-))
Happy to help. I have been going through mine also saving bits and pieces as image files. Did you save your contacts and their pictures and any nice things they had to say about you?
Sorry Sweatheart, I can't even figure out how to include pics in the body of my blog. I hope you can find some help. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteI dont know if it can be done. I transferred my stuff over here and then re inserted the visuals accordingly. Wish I could help more.
ReplyDeleteI figure that you want to save the image of the page, correct?
ReplyDeleteDo a screenshot of the 360 page. I have the instructions for Windows XP, but there are screenshots for all of them.

If you mean saving the entire thing all at one time, all I know is to back it up on a disk.

ReplyDeleteYou can move the blogs to multiply and they arrive intact , but the comment section doesn't transfer.
ReplyDeleteveroniquemariquita and I are saying the same thing. Check the link:

ReplyDeleteOh yes I remember and you were not the only one. Someone is doing it right now, so I activated auto-delete and just run through all of her posts. :-}
ReplyDeleteIf you just leave them alone, soon they wander off into the wild blue yonder . lol
