  1. I often see or rather don't see videos that can only be seen in the US if you understand what I mean. But if it's a You Tube video you should be able to see it.

  3. my play list cant be listened to in my country....[project play list].they say for the same reasons but i have british stuff on there that is out of copy-write....is it the thin end of the wedge for net freedom?

  4. Maybe................actually I have noticed how much more difficult it is for me now to find pictures of paintings to use in my blogs than it used to be. When I first started doing art blogs it was easy tom get pictures to use...........now it isn't and lots of the pictures you can use are small and low resolution..............so yes maybe net freedom is disappearing.

  6. America started it and a lot of copywrite hasn't been done over here yet-so with songs same thing if you bought them and put them on it is okay or if you down load for a few pennies you many use them -it is for money-most pictures you may use but you may need to ask permission-but there are plenty of things still for free you just need to search for it-the EU hasn't agreed to some of the conditions of the copywrite that is why they block some of the stuff-all the pictures I have found are good resolution and normal size -
with videos some may not play on your computer if they are to long etc. so far I haven't had any problem that way-

  7. Thanks Heidi...........yep I can still get good pictures but it is a lot harder now than it used to be, there seems to far more restrictions than there ever were before. And I don't think the size of the videos is the problem, its just the restrictions.........think I liked it a whole lot more when there were not so many restrictions, i never saw what harm it could do to introduce other people to pictures or music, its a bit like free advertising in my eyes.

  8. I know the problem is with the younger artists they think by restricting and copywriting and having people pay for the rights that will make them money-well for me it seems silly like you I like to introduce new artists to people and share-I like a lot of hawaien artists but there is the same problem-but at least now a lot are doing their own sites and it easy to get on line permission to use the pics-sad isn't it -that is why I went back to doing the masters cause they are dead no problem lol
music is even worse lucky my daughter has lots on line so I can use hers but all of ommem is 30sec. music unless you can find it through a third record or pay-
