Rhodes 2005, my inspiration for the blue and white

These are just a couple of the photographs I took while in Rhodes a few years ago. I decided to post these now because this really was the inspiration for all the blue and white in my garden. I am slowly sorting through the rest of my Rhodes pictures and will post them soon.

  1. Just great Loretta. There is a seaside resort in New Jersey, Atlantic City, and the surrounding towns have some old buildings with this sort of look, very 'ocean-side' isn't it.

  3. Lovely photos. We've got all white villages like that in Spain, which is a good idea as white reflects the heat.

  5. It's so typically Greek-island style. And I love those Greek windmills. This making me want to visit the islands again!!

  7. I haven't been to any of the Greek islands since 2002. I really must get overthere again in the near future. They are amongst my favourite places.
