Need some advice here please.....I keep getting invites from a couple of shops, all from someone called 'Wayne Baptiste'. I really don't want these invites but the sites don't have a block option, any one have any ideas how to stop this person inviting me. I've reported it as spam...........anything else I should be doing??

  4. Did you report it only as spam or notify customer service of an unsolicited intrusion from one of the Multiply sex shops?

  5. I dunno, Loretta, I just automatically ignore all invites from people/sites I don't know. I think it is worse if you go there to check them out. As soon as Multiply deletes them, they just set up another account.

  6. This is the reason for the captcha on here recently - you know when you have to copy what you see to prove you're human. Too bad spam doesn't always come in a can!

  7. Hi Frank I've not been able to send messages direct to customer services for almost two years now. When I try to contact them I get a message saying my enquiry is being dealt with, it shows a very old enquiry and then asks for any new information. It seems that something I reported years ago is still there and it blocks any new messages I want to send I actually gave up on trying to contact customer services over a year ago.

  8. OMG.............think I must be a bit naive.............just checked out the 'marketplace' tab at the top of the inbox, never done that before, and seems our Multiply is mostly a venue for sex shops, I didn't know that................

  9. LOL Its a site populated by blokes - a lot of whom are American and countries where such peccadilloes are deeply frowned upon! LOL

OF COURSE they're going to be sex shops!

  12. You are not!

    :o)

Its not something I would ever venture into either!

FYI - I had an Ann Summers party for my first wedding Hen Party! LMAO! I made £120 and that paid for the drinks!

  13. The odd thing here is that they did not have a 'block' option. I thought all sites on Multiply were required to have them. Whenever I've been pestered by online sellers (thankfully not sex shops!!), I've always found a 'block' option and used it.

  14. They have a personal block option.

Is this one of these things you have to be a premier user to get access to?

    Sheesh!

  15. What are Ann Summers parties?

  16. I don't think so. I've never had a premium account, and I've never come accross a site yet where there was no 'block' option.

  17. LOL... Anne Summers is the 'high street' sex shop, most high streets have them and they have sellers who come to your home and do 'parties'
a bit like Avon or Tupperwear. Unlike a lot of other sex shops its run by women and mostly for women

  19. When I get anything like this, I report them. It fixes the problem and M get right onto it. The only thing is that these spammers of smut cannot be stopped as they just start up with a new name. They probably won't bother you again tho'.

  20. yep I clicked the report button and listed it as spam, but like I said to Frank, I can't PM customer support, not been able to do that for almost 2 years now...........just hope what I've done is enough.

  21. you report them to Multiply now they will take care of it for you

  22. Don't really want to invite attention from this kind of site, but will see if I can see remotely without being logged into my own account.

  23. Well that didn't work. Did you go to the site to look for the 'block option'? Whenever I use 'block' I click on the headshot where a person/site has visited my page and the 'block' option is usually the last item on the list of options that appear.

  24. yep, had a good look on both sites, but no block option

  25. Would you like me to copy and past your issue to customer service for you along with the part that you have not been able to contact them for two years?
