weekend music; Sinéad O'Connor - Something Beautiful (Jeremiah)

Sinéad Marie Bernadette O'Connor, born 8 December 1966, is an Irish singer-songwriter. She rose to fame in the late 1980s with her debut album The Lion and the Cobra and achieved worldwide success in 1990 with a cover of the song "Nothing Compares 2 U".
This song is  'Jeremiah' from her  2007 album 'Theology'.

  4. I think she is todays answer to Bob Dylan and Joan Biaz, she turned a Bob Marley song ( WAR) into a protest about child sex abuse within the roman catholic churches of Ireland. If you had a Vineyard (below) comes from the book of Isiah in the bible and she turns it into a song of support for the Palestinians. She also raps about the potato famine of Ireland and tells how in fact there never was a famine, its just that all the edible food was all exported to England..............to name but a few of her songs :-)
